ABOUT US

Jeanine holds a degree in Accounting from Indiana University and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1996. In 2008, she founded her own accounting firm, offering accounting, bookkeeping, tax preparation, and advisory services to individuals and businesses alike.

Beyond her practice, Jeanine has served as treasurer for numerous nonprofit organizations, including many connected to her four children’s extracurricular activities over the years. She currently volunteers at her local food bank and takes an active role in community clean-up efforts.

Karen holds a BS in Mathematics from Northern Illinois University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with over 25 years of experience in public accounting. Her expertise focuses on helping individuals and small businesses navigate tax preparation, strategic tax planning, bookkeeping, budgeting, and financial statement analysis. Driven by a deep commitment to her family and community, Karen serves on the board of Adults Independent and Motivated (AIM)—a non-profit advocating for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD)—and is an active member and treasurer of Canyon Church in Dripping Springs.

Stacey began her career as a bookkeeper over 20 years ago before returning to school for her degree in Forensic Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.  Born and raised in Texas, she returned to the Austin area after a decade and a half in Nevada. Stacey is an avid tennis player and spends most of her down time with her teenage daughter and two huskies.  She is working toward obtaining her CPA license and looks forward to serving the Austin area’s accounting needs.

Gabe holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio (2023) and has spent the past three years providing bookkeeping and tax preparation services to individuals and small businesses. Outside of work, he is an active member of the Austin music scene, performing guitar with several local bands.

Crystal became a bookkeeper in 2010. Before that, she worked as a Visual Merchandiser for Neiman Marcus and Stein Mart. She received her degree in Retail Management and Design from Texas State University.

On the side, Crystal uses her design skills to make costumes for her favorite charity, the BCRC, creating complementary outfits for artisan tops as part of their annual “Art Bra” event. She also owns two horses and enjoys riding English and jumping courses. Crystal loves everything about Halloween and scary movies!

Cynthia Cline joined Hemingway & Buchanan, CPA, P.C. in 2023, bringing more than seven years of leadership experience managing multiple Austin-area offices for a national corporate tax preparation firm. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and English from Texas State University.

Cynthia specializes in tax preparation and payroll services for individuals and small businesses. In her role as Tax Administrator, she oversees the administration and workflow of returns in process, helping to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional client service throughout the tax preparation cycle.

A lifelong Texan, Cynthia calls south Austin home, where she raised her three sons and has remained actively engaged in the local community. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring the beauty of the Texas Hill Country.

Peyton received a BS in Mathematics from Saint Edward’s University in 2023 and has been working in bookkeeping for two years. He is from central Texas and has lived in Austin since 2019. In his downtime, he enjoys playing guitar, watching basketball, and spending time with friends and family.

Heather has more than 20 years of experience in business administration across both the private and public sectors. She began her career in Chicago, spending 10 years supporting a family office before bringing her experience to the accounting profession. Heather enjoys creating organized, efficient processes, building strong relationships with clients, and helping make the tax process as smooth and stress-free as possible. 

Kathy retired from a challenging career as a Senior Claims Multi-line Insurance Adjuster for more than 30 yrs., with concentration on Texas Worker’s Compensation.  She enjoys time spent with family, friends, reading, and enjoying the Texas Hill Country.
